Objectives: The To distinguish between basal and non-basal subtypes of triple-negative breast cancers based on epidermal growth factor receptor and cytokeratin 5/6, and to establish the association of the diagnosis with clinicopathological parameters and survival rates.
Method: The retrospective study was conducted at the Clinical Oncology and Nuclear Medicine Department of Kafrelsheikh University Hospital and Tanta University Hospital, Egypt, and comprised medical records from January 2014 to December 2018 related to cases with histopathologically proven triple-negative breast cancer who had been treated and followed up for at least 5 years. The cases had been evaluated using immunohistochemistry for epidermal growth factor receptor and Cytokeratin 5/6 expression.
Objectives: To evaluate the prognostic importance of tumour-infiltrating forkhead box P3 protein + regulatory T cells in breast cancer patients.
Method: The case-control study was conducted from January 2020 to March 2021 at the Kafrelsheikh University Hospital, Egypt, and comprised individuals with newly-diagnosed breast cancer who underwent conventionalsurgery, and controls who had a fibrocystic change of the breast. The density of tumour-infiltrating forkhead box P3 protein + regulatory T cells was assessed by immunohistochemistry.
Objectives: To evaluate epidermal growth factor receptor and Ki-67 immunohistochemical expression in colorectal adenoma and carcinoma cases, and to relate their expression with the available clinicopathological data.
Method: The retrospective study was conducted at the Faculty of Medicine, Kafrelsheikh University, Egypt, from September 2019 to October 2020, and comprised formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded specimens related to cases of colorectal adenoma and those of colorectal carcinoma, who had no previous radiation or chemotherapeutic treatment. Immunohistochemical staining of all thecases was done using anti-epidermal growth factor receptor and anti-Ki-67 antibodies.
Objectives: To evaluate programmed death-ligand 1 immunohistochemical expression in the available variants of urinary bladder carcinoma, and to correlate its expression with the available clinicopathological features.
Method: The retrospective study was conducted at the Faculty of Medicine, Kafrelsheikh University, Egypt, from February 2020 to April 2021, and comprised formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded specimens of urinary bladder carcinoma belonging to patients who had no history of radiotherapy or chemotherapy. Immunohistochemicalstaining of all cases was done using anti-programmed death-ligand 1 antibody.
Objectives: To analyse the effectiveness of narrow-band imaging in determining the severity of inflammation in ulcerative colitis patients in relation to histological activity.
Method: The cross-sectional study was conducted at Kafrelsheikh University Hospital, Egypt, from June 2021 to May 2022, and comprised patientsregardless of age and gender who had ulcerative colitis and visited the endoscopy unit. After taking detailed history, the patients were subjected to physical examination and laboratory tests which included complete blood count, international normalised ratio, erythrocyte sedimentation rate and faecal calprotectin.

CK8/18 is a luminal marker and may indicate a luminal phenotype of IDC and its expression in ADH and DCIS may refer to a possible precursor lesion to IDC.
