  • This study investigated how dietary supplementation affects the antioxidant capacity of Nile tilapia exposed to sodium sulphate over eight weeks.
  • Four groups of fish were used: a control group, a group exposed to sodium sulphate, a group fed with a diet supplemented with a substance called SP, and a fourth group receiving both SP and sodium sulphate.
  • Results showed that exposure to sodium sulphate decreased antioxidant levels and gene expression related to oxidative stress, but SP supplementation helped improve these antioxidative parameters.
