Introduction: The study was designed to assess the role of some important immunologic factors with regards to both laboratory results and clinical symptoms in patients with confirmed Lyme disease. Additional examinations were carried out for co-infections with a number of tick-borne pathogens.
Material And Methods: The study group consisted of 54 patients with Lyme disease and a group of 21 healthy controls.
Aim Of The Study: To identify distribution of HBV genotypes in particular regions of Poland.
Material And Methods: The study included 270 treatment-naïve, HBV-infected individuals, enrolled in 7 centers of Poland. HBV genotyping was performed in 243 of them with the INNO-LiPA HBV Genotyping assay (Innogenetics).
