Background: The UN General Assembly recognised the human right to water and sanitation through the sixth SDG in 2010. South Kordofan, a state in southern Sudan, faces WASH challenges due to conflict, geographical factors, and inadequate services, impacting over 600,000 residents. Such conflicts are well known for spreading diseases and disrupting WASH-related practices among displaced individuals.

Accessibility of Patients With Special Healthcare Needs to Dental Care in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia: A Multicentre Study From Perspective of Caregiver and Dental Care Providers.

Dental care accessibility is subject to a dentist's qualification, practice and intention to treat patients, regardless of whether those patients have special healthcare needs (SCN) and should receive treatment in a dental setting. This multicentre study aimed to evaluate the characteristics of patients with SCN, their access to dental care and behaviour towards dental care from their caregiver's perspective. In addition, the perspective of dental care providers who care for patients with SCN and the factors affecting the provision of treatment was also appraised.

Frequency of ABO and Rh Blood Groups Among Blood Donors in the Hail Region of Saudi Arabia.

Objective: Proper blood bank inventory management and safe, efficient blood transfusion services require a thorough understanding of ABO and Rh(D) blood group distributions in specific populations. The objective of this research was to evaluate the distribution of ABO and Rh blood types among different ethnic blood donors in the Hail region of Saudi Arabia and compare the results to those of other populations.

Methodology: Data from 3,166 blood donors were analyzed retrospectively.

Objective: Benzene is one of the major carcinogenic factors that can affect liver, kidneys, and lungs. Chronic inhalation of benzene vapor by petrol stations workers has been shown to have an impact on hematological parameters; thus, the present study aimed to investigate the effect of benzene exposure on petrol station workers.

Subjects And Methods: The study involved 99 participants, 50 of whom have been exposed to benzene and 49 of whom have not (control).

COVID-19 and malaria co-infection: a systematic review of clinical outcomes in endemic areas.

Background: COVID-19 and malaria cause significant morbidity and mortality globally. Co-infection of these diseases can worsen their impact on public health. This review aims to synthesize literature on the clinical outcomes of COVID-19 and malaria co-infection to develop effective prevention and treatment strategies.

Readiness of managers and health care workers for e-Health: a cross-sectional study in Khartoum primary health care centers, Sudan.

Background: e-Health is defined as "the use, in the health sector, of digital data- transmitted, stored and retrieved electronically-for clinical, educational and administrative purposes, both at the local site and at a distance". Objective: Coronavirus disease 2019, caused by the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2), is a communicable disease transmitted through the respiratory route and bodily contact. The severity of infection and mortality rate of COVID-19 cases was significantly high in the initial stages of the pandemic. This study aims to investigate the hematological profile of COVID-19 survivors and non-survivors.

Hemoglobin Levels, Anemia, and Their Associations with Body Mass Index among Pregnant Women in Hail Maternity Hospital, Saudi Arabia: A Cross-Sectional Study.

Blood Groups and Hematological Parameters Do Not Associate with First Trimester Gestational Diabetes Mellitus (Institutional Experience).
