There has been much controversy over the optimal operative treatment of intra-articular calcaneal fractures. Open reduction and internal fixation is associated with a high incidence of postoperative soft tissue complications. This study sought to evaluate the outcomes of indirect reduction and percutaneous K-wire fixation for displaced intra-articular calcaneal fractures.
