Introduction: In Egypt, bladder cancer (BC) represents about 8.7% of cancers in both sexes. In Egyptian men, it accounts for over 30% of all cancers, which makes it the second most frequent cancer.

Material And Methods: Six cycles of docetaxel plus ADT were given to 50 patients with high burden mHSPC. Baseline HALP score was calculated and disease outcome was tabulated; moreover, the prognostic impact of the HALP score in response to treatment and survival was calculated.
Cyclin-dependent kinase inhibition is considered a promising target for cancer treatment for its crucial role in cell cycle regulation. Pyrazolo pyrimidine derivatives were well established for their antitumor activity via CDK2 inhibition. In this research, new series of pyrazolopyrimidine derivatives () was designed and synthesised as novel CDK2 inhibitors.

CDK2 inhibition is an appealing target for cancer treatment that targets tumor cells in a selective manner. A new set of small molecules featuring the privileged pyrazolo[3,4-]pyrimidine and pyrazolo[4,3-][1,2,4]triazolo[1,5-]pyrimidine scaffolds (4-13) as well as the thioglycoside derivatives (14, 15) were designed, and synthesized as novel CDK2 targeting compounds. The growth of the three examined cell lines was significantly inhibited by most of the prepared compounds.

The study investigates the temporal variations of trace metals to assess the development of the anthropogenic pollution status in the coastal sediments. The average concentrations, the enrichment factor, and the geoaccumulation index revealed that Cr, V, Ni, and Co are pollutants of concern.

Copper deficiency (CuD) is a common mineral disorder in ruminants, which causes histomorphological changes in the heart due to disturbances in copper-dependent metalloenzymes. However, alterations in the measurable cardiac parameters during CuD have not been studied in ruminants, especially in goats. Therefore, the current study aimed to investigate longitudinally the potential role of electrocardiography (ECG) and echocardiography to detect the CuD-induced cardiac damage at different time intervals and concomitantly highlighting the impact of CuD on specific hemato-biochemical parameters and histological cardiac disruption in goats.

The ability of Nigella saliva seeds (NSS) in ameliorating lead acetate (PbAc)-induced hepatic oxidative damage was investigated using a rabbit model. Forty New Zealand rabbits were given feed and water ad libitum.
