Background: Electronic cigarettes (EC) are popular devices that aerosolize a nicotine and have been controversially considered tool for smoking cessation and tobacco harm reduction (THR). The purpose of this pilot study was to identify head and neck cancer (HNC) surgeons' attitudes/perspectives of EC and smoking cessation counseling.

Methods: Cross-sectional survey administered to American Head and Neck Society (AHNS) members.

Surgical management of parotid non-tuberculous mycobacteria lymphadenitis in children: A pediatric tertiary-care hospital's experience.

Objective: Non-tuberculous mycobacteria (NTM) represents an important etiology of cervicofacial lymphadenitis (CFL) and skin/soft tissue infections in children. It can also affect the salivary glands, including the parotid gland, which is unique due to the presence of intra-salivary lymph nodes. There are no established guidelines for treatment of NTM CFL.

Otolaryngology Resident Education and Perceptions of e-cigarettes.

Objective: To date, there are no reports of otolaryngology residents' knowledge and confidence in discussing e-cigarette use. The purpose of this study was to evaluate otolaryngology resident e-cigarette knowledge and confidence in counseling patients on e-cigarette use.

Virtual Interviewing Tips for the Otolaryngology Match Cycle During the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Virtual interviews are planned for the upcoming 2020-2021 residency cycle. This presents a unique challenge for medical students. Due to the importance of the interaction of applicants and interviewers during the interview, medical students should thoroughly prepare for the upcoming virtual interview season.

Clinical and functional outcomes after total laryngectomy and laryngopharyngectomy: Analysis by tumor subsite, salvage status, and extent of resection.

Background: Outcomes following surgical intervention for laryngeal and hypopharyngeal tumors are dependent on several factors. In the present study, we sought to determine whether tumor subsite, salvage status, and extent of resection influenced postoperative outcomes.

Methods: Retrospective review of 107 patients at a single institution who underwent total laryngectomy or partial/total laryngopharyngectomy.
