Methods: A Tenckhoff catheter was placed laparoscopically, using just 1 port, in 13 consecutive patients with end-stage renal failure.

Methods: Six patients on dialysis (HD) were studied using modified cellulose (Hemophan), ethylene-vinyl alcohol (EVAL) and polyacrylonitrile (PAN).
