Objective: Radiotherapy remains an essential part of the management of locally advanced cervical cancer. Post-treatment surveillance allows for tumor response assessment and early detection of progressive prosecutions or local recurrences that may benefit from salvage treatment. The objective of this work is to assess the effectiveness of this therapeutic modality.

Between January 2001 and December 2009, 25 patients with stage I testicular seminoma were treated in the Radiotherapy Department at the National Institute of Oncology in Rabat. Primary orchidectomy was performed via the inguinal route.

Case Presentation: We report a case of a 58-year-old black woman diagnosed with Merkel cell carcinoma of the posterior face of the right elbow.
Background: Although cervix carcinoma is one of the most common malignancies in women, hematogenous metastases are relatively not common. Cutaneous metastases, in particular, are unusual even at an advanced stage of disease. Their presence is a predictor of poor prognosis.

Given the uncommon nature of this tumor and the controversy about its treatment we report one case and review the literature in an attempt to report a particular evolution and to discuss the most appropriate treatment.

We conducted this study to learn more about the extent and reasons behind diagnosis delay of advanced breast cancer in Moroccan women.
Methods: A group of patients with advanced breast cancer were interviewed at the National Institute of Oncology in Rabat during the period from February to December 2014.

Introduction: Cancer metastasis to the thyroid is extremely rare. The most common sites that have been reported to metastasize to the thyroid gland are breast and kidney. As to primary lung cancer metastasizing to the thyroid gland, only a few cases have been described in the literature.

Morbidity related to weight loss during treatment may include dehydration, hospitalization, compromised treatment efficacy, and reduced quality of life and may impact survival hence the importance of early nutritional management prior to radiotherapy. Multiple interventions have been implemented to help ameliorate the impact of treatment on weight loss and nutritional status, including the use of percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy tubes.

They have a predilection for squamous mucosae, particularly those of the head and neck region. Many factors have been associated with its pathogenesis, including the presence of previous skin lesions; VC arising from a prosthesis injury is rare.

Although VTE is associated with high rates of mortality and morbidity in cancer patients, its severity is still underestimated by many oncologists. Thromboprophylaxis of VTE now considered as a standard of care is still not prescribed in many institutions; the appropriate treatment of an established VTE is not yet well known by many physicians and nurses in the cancer field.

Treatment strategies and screening modalities have largely evolved these past years resulting in an improvement of survival. However, treatment modalities are associated with long term side effects that significantly impacts quality of life (QOL) in cervical cancer survivors.

Initially reserved for elderly or unfit patients unable to undergo radical cystectomy, chemoradiotherapy became a true alternative to surgery for highly selected patients. Although there are no randomized trials comparing radical cystectomy with bladder preserving approaches, surgery remains the preferred treatment for many clinicians.
