Rupture of a deep femoral artery aneurysm with pulsating hematoma: a case report.

True deep femoral artery aneurysms are a rare abnormality of the human vascular system and account for approximately 0.13% of all peripheral arterial aneurysms. We report a 66-year-old man with a ruptured deep femoral artery aneurysm and a pulsating hematoma.
