Three phase induction motors (TPIM) are extensively used for various applications in the industry for driving cranes, hoists, lifts, rolling mills, cooling fans, textile operations, and so forth. TPIM are designed to operate on balanced three phase power supply, but sometimes three phase supply line voltages to which the TPIM is connected may be unbalanced. In this data article, the operational data of a TPIM operating under changing voltage scenarios is profiled to determine the variations in the magnitude of the operational parameters of the motor.

Objectives: This study aimed to assess the efficacy of praziquantel in reducing urinary schistosomiasis prevalence, parasite burden and morbidity rates among a previously reported sample of -infected children. In addition, predisposing factors for reinfection one year post-treatment were also determined.

Methods: This prospective follow-up study was conducted between March 2014 and February 2015 among 675 previously reported children with urinary schistosomiasis in the Murbai and Surbai communities of Ardo Kola, Taraba State, Nigeria.

This study assessed the level of malarial infection in relation to some epidemiological factors, gravidity and pregnancy period of antenatal clinic attendees of the Federal Medical Centre, Makurdi, Benue State, Nigeria. We also assessed malarial infection in placental blood in relation to gravidity of pregnant women at delivery in the maternity clinic of the same hospital. Thin and thick blood films were prepared for microscopic examination.
