[Nursing diagnoses in patients undergoing prostatectomy: identification of the significance of its components].

Cross-sectional study conducted in a university hospital located in the Brazil's northeastern with 50 patients in the prostatectomy immediate postoperative. The study aimed to identify the defining characteristics and related/ risk factors that are associated with nursing diagnoses present in patients undergoing to prostatectomy. Nine nursing diagnoses that are statistically associated with related/ risk factors and defining characteristics were identified.

[Process standards of nursing care for patients with oncologic conditions: an integrative literature review].

This is an integrative review that aimed to present the knowledge produced on the process standards of nursing care (SAE) through the Nursing Process (NP) for cancer patients. Data was collected from September to October, 2010 in the electronic databases Scopus, Nursing and Allied Health Literature (CINAHL) and Scientific and Technical Literature of Latin America and the Caribbean (LILACS). Five articles were found.
