Accurately inferring underlying electrophysiological (EP) tissue properties from action potential recordings is expected to be clinically useful in the diagnosis and treatment of arrhythmias such as atrial fibrillation. It is, however, notoriously difficult to perform. We present EP-PINNs (Physics Informed Neural Networks), a novel tool for accurate action potential simulation and EP parameter estimation from sparse amounts of EP data.

IL-17A plays a central role in the development of psoriasis and might connect skin and vascular disease. The aim of this study was to clarify whether anti-IL-17A therapy could also ameliorate the vascular dysfunction associated with severe psoriasis.

These drugs are mainly used for the treatment of angina pectoris and ischemic heart disease. The aim of this study was to characterize the vasodilatory potency of this organic nitrate alone and in combination with clinically established cardiovascular drugs.

The underlying mechanisms remain largely unknown. Field studies with nighttime noise exposure demonstrate that aircraft noise leads to vascular dysfunction, which is markedly improved by vitamin C, suggesting a key role of oxidative stress in causing this phenomenon.

Given the potential of GTN to induce nitro-oxidative stress, we investigated the interaction between nitro-oxidative DNA damage and vascular dysfunction in experimental nitrate tolerance.
