- The study evaluated the effectiveness of regular CT scans following endovascular abdominal aneurysm repair (EVAR) and investigated the impact of AAA neck anatomy on imaging frequency.
- A retrospective analysis included 127 predominantly male patients with a mean age of 75.9 years, classified into groups based on the anatomical features of their aneurysm neck—favorable or hostile.
- Results showed high technical success rates (100%) with low mortality (0.8%) and similar reintervention and survival rates regardless of neck anatomy, while complications were slightly more frequent in the hostile neck group but did not significantly affect outcomes.
