Serotonin Levels and Cognitive Recovery in Patients with Subacute Stroke after Rehabilitation Treatment.

Post-stroke depression and cognitive impairment are common conditions affecting patients after stroke. Serotonin is a neurotransmitter involved in modulating, among others, mood, cognition, learning, and memory.
