Chronic non-bacterial osteomyelitis (CNO) is an inflammatory bone disease, usually diagnosed in childhood. It is characterized by the presence of multifocal or unifocal osteolytic lesions that can cause bone pain and soft tissue swelling. CNO is known to have soft tissue involvement.

Objective: The study aimed to determine clinical indicators that could be used to differentiate between patients diagnosed with substance-induced psychotic disorder (SIPD) and patients diagnosed with schizophrenia by comparing their psychotic symptoms and theory of mind (ToM).

Methods: The study included 43 male patients diagnosed with schizophrenia according to DSM-5 criteria and 43 male patients diagnosed with SIPD. The patients were administered the Sociodemographic and Clinical Data Form, Scale for the Assessment of Positive Symptoms (SAPS), Scale for the Assessment of Negative Symptoms (SANS), Psychotic Symptom Evaluation Scale (PSYRATS), and Reading the Mind in the Eyes Test (RMET).

The European Water Framework Directive (WFD) (2000/60/EC) is the most visionary piece of European environmental legislation that aims to achieve good water status of both surface water and groundwater bodies. The Directive provides a fundamental basis for surface water monitoring activities in the European Member States. Many developing countries apply technology-based discharge standards that set quantitative limits on pollutant discharges. These standards do not inherently consider ambient constraints and, therefore, cannot guarantee to protect aquatic life from hazardous pollutants. It is a challenge for developing countries to enforce water-quality-based limits for wastewater discharges and guarantee the intended use of water.
