Growing concerns over the human health and environmental impacts of conventional fungicides, coupled with the escalating challenge of microbial resistance, have fueled the search for sustainable biocontrol strategies against plant pathogens. This study reports, for the first time, the green synthesis and characterization of a novel, eco-friendly nanomaterial, designated Pleurotus eryngii-Lecithin-Chitosan Nanomaterial (PEELCN), derived from P. eryngii extract (PEE), lecithin (L), and chitosan (C).

The Efficacy of Night Bracing in the Treatment of Adolescent İdiopathic Scoliosis: A Systematic Review.

The effectiveness of night braces alone or in combination with other treatments for adolescent idiopathic scoliosis remains unclear. This systematic review study aimed to review and analyze the available literature to determine whether night braces are an effective treatment for idiopathic scoliosis. A total of 162 databases, including Cochrane Library (reviews, protocols, trials), Web of Science, PubMed, Medline, Scopus, PEDro, CINAHL (EBSCO), Ovid and Google Scholar, were searched for published articles from inception to February 2024.

Methods: Files of children with DV who underwent BF between 2013 and 2020 were retrospectively reviewed. Patients with neurological or anatomical problems were excluded.

Turkish Version Study of "Parkinson's Disease Quality of Life Questionnaire" (PDQL).

Introduction: This study aimed to evaluate Turkish transcultural adaptation, reliability, and validity of "Parkinson's Disease Quality of Life Questionnaire" (PDQL), which has been developed to assess the quality of life of patients with Parkinson's disease.

Methods: Eighty-nine patients who were included in the study were diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. They were presented to the outpatient clinic of the Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation department between July 2005 and April 2008.

A novel strategy for selection and validation of reference genes in dynamic multidimensional experimental design in yeast.

Background: Understanding the dynamic mechanism behind the transcriptional organization of genes in response to varying environmental conditions requires time-dependent data. The dynamic transcriptional response obtained by real-time RT-qPCR experiments could only be correctly interpreted if suitable reference genes are used in the analysis. The lack of available studies on the identification of candidate reference genes in dynamic gene expression studies necessitates the identification and the verification of a suitable gene set for the analysis of transient gene expression response.

Validity of the Turkish version of the Kujala patellofemoral score in patellofemoral pain syndrome.

Objectives: Patellofemoral pain syndrome is one of the most common knee problems, with major effects on quality of life and function. The Kujala patellofemoral score is a functional evaluation instrument to evaluate knee problems related to the patellofemoral system. The aim of this study was to evaluate the validity of the Turkish version of the Kujala patellofemoral score in patients with patellofemoral pain syndrome.
