The aim of this study was to evaluate the relationship between nine types of temperament, anthropometric measurements, and nutrition in adults. This study was conducted on 1317 individuals aged between 18 and 55 years.

The aim of this study was to perform histopathological analysis of residual material in the cannula by endometrial sampling using a Carmen injector, and to compare the results. The study was conducted in the Department of Gynaecology, Mardin Training and Research Hospital, Artuklu/Mardin, Turkiye, from December 2021 to June 2022. The study group consisted of 104 patients who presented to the outpatient clinic with complaints of abnormal uterine bleeding.

This review examines the factors influencing exosomes noted in human milk and the impacts of exosomes on infant health.

Brain white matter microstructural alterations in Behcet's syndrome correlate with cognitive impairment and disease severity: A diffusion tensor imaging study.

Objectives: To evaluate the microstructural integrity of brain white matter tracts in patients with Neuro-Behcet's syndrome (NBS) and Behcet's syndrome (BS) without neurological manifestations using diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) and to investigate potential utility of DTI as a surrogate biomarker of neurocognitive functioning and disease severity.

Methods: This cross-sectional study comprised 34 NBS patients and 32 BS patients without neurological involvement, identified based on the International Study Group of the Behcet's disease (ISGBD) and the International Consensus Recommendation (ICR) criteria, as well as 33 healthy controls. Cognitive functions, including attention, memory, language, abstraction, executive control, visuospatial skills, and sensorimotor performance were assessed using standardized questionnaires.

Objective: To conduct unbiased research into the quality and reliability of videos published on YouTube on the subject of smell dysfunction and treatment through two Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) specialists using three different tools.

Methods: The videos were separated into two groups (reliable: Group 1; non-reliable: Group 2) according to whether or not the content was scientifically reliable, proven, accurate, and useful, as determined by two ENT specialist physicians. The DISCERN reliability tool, Global quality scale (GQS), and JAMA scoring system were used as video scoring tools in the evaluations.

The relation of serum endocan and soluble endoglin levels with metabolic control in children and adolescents with type 1 diabetes mellitus.

Objectives Endothelial dysfunction is an early marker of vascular disease in Type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1DM). In the present study, we aimed to investigate serum endocan and soluble endoglin (S-endoglin) levels, and their relation with metabolic control in children with T1DM, which was not previously assessed. Methods A total of 64 T1DM subjects and 64 healthy subjects were included in this study.

Background: Due to technical difficulties, lung function in infants is less studied. This prospective cross-sectional study investigated breathing parameters by using tidal breath analysis (TBA) technique in hospitalized infants with the first-time acute bronchiolitis (AB).

Methods: This study enrolled 111 infants aged 1 month-2 years: 61 with AB and 50 healthy controls.

The adsorption of phosphate-buffered saline to model films composed of nanofibrillated cellulose and gelatin.

Phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) adsorption on model films composed of gelatin and nanofibrillated celluloses (NFCs) with different aldehyde and carboxyl contents was studied by means of the quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation (QCM-D) technique in this study. The results showed that frequency shift (Δ f) due to PBS adsorption increased with increasing gelatin content to 50% in NFC-containing films. The dissipation shift and adsorption rate of PBS followed the same trend.

Objective: The aim of the study was to investigate the association between the severity of acute rheumatic carditis (ARC) and the neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) and mean platelet volume (MPV).

Methods: Paediatric patients diagnosed with ARC between 2010 and 2016 and age- and gender-matched controls were retrospectively analysed. The present study was conducted to identify endometrial and myometrial lesions coexisting with adenomyosis, and to evaluate the clinicopathological characteristics of endometrial adenocarcinomas associated with adenomyosis. A retrospective analysis of the resected uterine specimens of 319 patients with adenomyosis admitted between January 1, 2014 and August 1, 2017 was performed. The endometrial and myometrial lesions coexisting with adenomyosis were evaluated.
