- The study aimed to test the reliability of the Dutch translation of the Voice Handicap Index (VHI) by conducting a test-retest analysis with 104 patients suffering from voice issues.
- There was no significant difference in VHI scores between male and female patients, and the scores from the two tests showed a strong correlation (r=0.95).
- A difference of 14 points in a patient’s VHI score at two different times was deemed significant, suggesting good reproducibility of the VHI for clinical assessments.
