Background: Aesthetics is a branch of philosophy that has been entered into the philosophy of education for a long time. Reviewing the concept of aesthetics in education, we can see the components that can cover a number of challenges in the field of patient education. Focusing on the conceptual dimensions obtained from the analysis of this concept, the aim is matching the resulting conceptual categories with the gaps in the field of patient education.

Entering aesthetic concept into the field of patient education: A protocol for an interdisciplinary study to develop a conceptual model.

Background: According to the significance of patient education, new conceptual models are constantly required to promote pedagogical competences of health educators. In the field of educational sciences, aesthetic-based education is known as one of the effective types of curriculum planning which has shown many positive pedagogical outcomes. Thus, the researcher's assumption is that, the concept of "aesthetic education" could be transposed from educational sciences to health sciences in order to develop a new formula in the patient education process.

Effectiveness of Health-Centered Life Skills Training on Health-Related Quality of Life in Mothers with Blind Children: A Randomized Controlled Interventional Study.

Background: Child visual impairment is one of the disabilities that influence the Health Related Quality of Life (HRQOL) of mothers. Therefore, it is necessary to establish appropriate interventions for enhancing their HRQOL. This study was conducted to assess the efficiency of a Health-Centered Life Skills Training (HCLST) program on the HRQOL of mothers with visually impaired children aged 7 to 12 years.
