Background: has emerged as an important nosocomial opportunistic pathogen, often associated with serious infections. We investigated the antimicrobial resistance trends, predisposing factors, and infection outcomes associated with isolated in a secondary-care hospital in Oman.
Materials And Methods: A retrospective study was conducted at a secondary-care hospital in the northern region of Oman after receiving approval from the research ethics and approval committee of Oman.

Background: This study aims to determine the prevalence of secondary bacterial infections (SBIs) in hospitalized coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) subjects and evaluate their antibiotic susceptibility. The study also sought to identify risk factors for the outcome of SBIs in COVID-19 subjects.
Methods: This single-center cross-sectional retrospective study was carried out at Sohar Hospital in Oman.
Objectives: The aim of this study was to describe the epidemiological and clinical characteristics and laboratory findings of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) patients at the Sohar Hospital, Sohar, Oman.
Methods: This retrospective study of admitted COVID-19 patients at Sohar Hospital in Oman was carried out from March to October 2020. Demographics and laboratory data of 19 tests for 235 COVID-19 patients, of which 202 were survivors and 33 were non-survivors, were collected from the hospital information system after ethics approval.
Objectives: Anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH), a glycoprotein that belongs to the transforming growth factor-beta superfamily, is important for women's health. We aimed to determine the age-specific reference range of serum AMH in healthy Omani women from reproductive ages to menopause.
Methods: This cross-sectional cohort study was conducted among a group of healthy 20-50 years old Omani women.
Objective: To determine the seroprevalence of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) in healthcare workers (HCWs) based on risk of exposure to COVID-19 patients.
Method: This was a SARS-CoV-2 seroprevalence cross-sectional study in risk-stratified HCWs randomly selected from three main district hospitals in Oman.
Results: 1078 HCWs were included, with an overall SARS-CoV-2 seroprevalence of 21%.
Introduction: Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus (MERS-CoV), is an emerging infectious disease of growing global importance. This review describes the latest MERS-CoV clusters and the first cases of nosocomial transmission within health care facilities in Oman. We have highlighted lessons learned and proposed steps to prevent healthcare-associated infections.

Methods: We conducted a retrospective analysis of CgA requests referred to the Clinical Biochemistry Laboratory, Royal Hospital, Oman over a 24-month period (April 2012 to March 2014). During this time, 302 CgA tests for 270 patients (119 males and 151 females; age range 11-86 years and mean±standard deviation (SD) 44.
