This cross-sectional study aimed at evaluating the impact of different modalities of induction of labour (IOL) and delivery on levels of woman' satisfaction. All women aged 18 years or older, who underwent IOL for at-term pregnancy (≥41 weeks of gestation) in randomly selected days during the study period in 6 participating centres were eligible for the study. The questionnaire investigated women's opinion regarding information about induction, pain control, length of induction, their experience about induction, labour and delivery and their attitude towards induction in a subsequent pregnancy.

Background And Aims: Aetiopathogenesis of chorioangioma is already unknown. Among the risk factors, hypoxia, environmental and genetic factors are believed to induce the overexpression of angiogenic cytokines promoting vascular proliferation. We reported a case of prenatally diagnosed 67 mm-wide placental chorioangioma, which occurred at 32 weeks of gestational age, infarcted, and followed by the onset of a second infarcted chorioangioma at 35 weeks of gestational age.

Objectives: Evaluate ultrasound diagnostic accuracy, maternal-fetal characteristics and outcomes in case of vasa previa diagnosed antenatally, postnatally or with spontaneous resolution before delivery.

Methods: Monocentric retrospective study enrolling women with antenatal or postnatal diagnosis of vasa previa at Sant'Anna Hospital in Turin from 2007 to 2018. Vasa previa were defined as fetal vessels that lay 2 cm within the uterine internal os using 2D and Color Doppler transvaginal ultrasound.

Objectives: To evaluate the accuracy of ultrasound in prenatal diagnosis of Placenta accrete spectrum disorders in patients with posterior placenta previa, and to assess the impact of prenatal diagnosis in our population.

Study Design: We prospectively enrolled 198 women with posterior placenta previa from 2011 to 2017. We performed transabdominal and transvaginal ultrasound examinations (Grey-scale and colour/power Doppler).

Aims: To evaluate maternal complications of first trimester and second trimester termination of pregnancy (TOP) performed after first or second trimester positive prenatal diagnosis (PD).

Results: We performed a retrospective study from January 2007 to December 2011, on 844 patients, who underwent a TOP after positive amniocentesis or chorionic villus sampling (CVS) for foetal aneuploidies, performed for maternal age ≥35 years of age, positive prenatal screening (PS) or for genetic reasons. Exclusions criteria were gestational age >22+0 weeks, twin pregnancy and co-existing maternal pathologies.

Background: The aim of the present study is to test the hypothesis that Growth Restricted foetuses (FGR) have the tendency to develop more pathological cardiotocograpic tracings during labour than do appropriate for gestational age foetuses and that there is a shorter time lapse from the beginning of labour and the advent of a pathological cardiotocograpic tracing.

Methods: The study was carried out at the Maternal-Foetal Medicine Unit of the Sant'Anna University Hospital, Turin, Italy. A total of 930 foetuses born at term between January and December 2012 were analysed: 355 small for gestational age (SGA) comprising both constitutional small for gestational age and growth restricted foetuses (cases group) and 575 Appropriate for Gestational Age (AGA) foetuses (control group).

Background: Diabetes and nephropathy are important challenges during pregnancy, increasingly encountered because of the advances in maternal-fetal care.

Aim: To evaluate the maternal and fetal outcomes recorded in "severe" diabetic nephropathy in type 1 diabetic patients referred to nephrological healtcare.

Methods: The study was performed in an outpatient unit dedicated to kidney diseases in pregnancy (with joint nephrological and obstetric follow-up and strict cooperation with the diabetes unit).
