Introduction: Pancreatic necrosis is one of the most severe acute abdominal conditions, accounting for 15%-20% of all patients with acute pancreatitis and characterized by significant rates of postoperative complications and mortality. Patients with pancreatic necrosis, in which pathological changes are localized in the proximal pancreas and retroperitoneal space, deserve special attention. This form of the disease includes patients with disconnected main pancreatic duct (MPD) syndrome who have a difficult prognosis.

There are a lot of natural growth regulators on the market, but no research has been carried out yet to determine how effective they are. This field and laboratory study examines the impact of two commonly used Russian growth regulators, Crezacin and Zircon, along with artificial infection with on the antioxidant system of naked oat.

The current study demonstrates that pathogen contamination in grains occurs before harvesting and its degree is determined by favorable humidity and temperature conditions and by the open and hidden grain traumatization due to the enzyme stage of EMSD, i.e.

Vavilov Institute of Plant Industry (VIR) to investigate its resistance to the abiotic stress factors of the Moscow region and see how closely it matches the attributes of a wheat ideotype as postulated by N.

In experiments with cloned plants growing ex vitro in stressful conditions during acclimation, the effects of optical radiation of various spectral combinations from different photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) spectral regions were studied. The data on the plant development and state of the photosynthetic apparatus, features of photosynthetic gas exchange and transpiration, accumulation of photosynthetic pigments, light curves of photosynthesis, and data on growth processes in light modes using combined quasimonochromatic radiation (either mixture of red, green, and blue light or red, far-red, and blue light) with various ratio of the distinct spectral regions were obtained.

Background: Currently, the most dynamic areas in the glutamate receptor system neurobiology are the identification and development of positive allosteric modulators (PAMs) of glutamate ionotropic receptors. PAM-based drugs are of great interest as promising candidates for the treatment of neurological diseases, such as epilepsy, Alzheimer's disease, schizophrenia, etc. Understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying the biological action of natural and synthetic PAMs is a key point for modifying the original chemical compounds as well as for new drug design.

It is argued in the article that medical interpreting at border crossing points should be viewed as linguacultural mediation in the context close to emergency situations, which requires specific interpreter's competences. The article at indenting relevant competences of medical interpreters at border crossing points through conducting an experiment on quality of medical services provision to migrants and refugees in terms of effective interpreter assisted doctor-patient communication.

Benzodiazepines (BDZs) are known to act not only in the central nervous system, but on peripheral cells and tissues binding to the peripheral-type benzodiazepine receptors. In the present study, the influence of two different BDZs (diazepam (Dz) and tofizopam (Tof) on several immune functions has been examined in vitro. Some differences between Dz and Tof in their effects on human lymphocyte proliferative response, changes in glucocorticoid-induced suppression of cell proliferation and influence on cytokine production (tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-alpha) and interleukin-2 (IL-2)) have been determined.
