Article Synopsis
- A survey conducted in March and April 2018 at Nha Trang Bay, Vietnam identified 7 myxosporean species from 159 fish specimens across 18 species and 10 families.
- Two new species were discovered: Kudoa igori n. sp. and Kudoa borimiri n. sp., with prevalence rates of 10% and up to 60%, respectively, in various mullet species.
- Detailed spore morphology measurements were provided for both new species, highlighting differences in shape, size, and polar capsule features.
