Background: The destructive human activities, encroachment of natural habitats, and hyperarid climate threaten the wild flora of the unprotected mountainous areas facing the Gulf of Suez, Egypt. So, this study aims to revise and give an updated systematic status of the flowering plants growing there to conserve and utilize valuable biodiversity.
Results: This study showed the presence of 136 species, including 7 sub-species of vascular plants, 12 species of monocots, and 124 species dicots belonged to 98 genera and 37 families.

Aim: This study aimed to evaluate the changes in core breastfeeding indicators as a result of the use of social marketing (SM) approach for improving breastfeeding practices of Egyptian women and the physical growth of infants aged 6 to 12 months. The core breastfeeding indicators were: Early initiation of breastfeeding within one hour of birth, Predominant and exclusive breastfeeding to 6 months (EBF), Bottle feeding with formula, continued breastfeeding to 1 and 2 years, and responsiveness to cues of hunger and satiety.

Objective: Our aim was to evaluate safety and effectiveness of MT associated with the best medical treatment (BMT) in the management of AIS patients with distal vessel occlusion in comparison with the BMT alone.
Methods: Retrospective analysis was conducted on AIS patients treated by MT+BMT for primary distal vessel occlusion between 2015 and 2020, and were compared with a historic cohort managed by BMT alone between 2006 and 2015 selected based on the same inclusion criteria.

This work aimed to study the risk assessment procedures of a combination of single and repeated dose of the widely used pesticide, ethoprophos (Etho) and heavy metal cadmium (Cd), on the hematological, biochemical, reproduction and cytogenetic parameters in male mice. The results revealed that the sub-lethal dose (1/50 LD) of the tested toxic substances (Etho and/or Cd) reduced the body and organ weights, the most hematological profile and the activity of acetylcholine esterase (AChE). The tested pollutants significantly increased the parameters of liver function, including aspartate aminotransferase (AST) and alanine aminotransferase (ALT), as well as renal function tests, including creatinine and urea.
