Background Inpatient bowel preparation is often suboptimal. Few interventions have been effective at improving its success rate. We determined the clinical features associated with suboptimal inpatient bowel preparation and analyzed the ability of an easily implementable set of instructions inserted into the electronic health record to improve the success of bowel preparation.

Clinicopathological features and survival outcomes for gastric adenocarcinoma: Real-world single-center data.

Introduction: Gastric cancer is the fifth most-common cancer and fourth common cause for cancer-related deaths globally. Surgery preceded or followed by chemotherapy or chemoradiotherapy is considered an optimal treatment for locally advanced gastric cancer. Increased stomatal density may contribute to enhanced water loss and thereby help improve the transpirational cooling process and mitigate the high temperature-induced yield losses.
