This investigation presents extensive computational analyses of the compressible flow near ramp injector with double circular injectors at supersonic combustor of scramjet engine. Comparison of the fuel mixing and fuel jet penetration of hydrogen jet are done for two injector configurations at free stream Mach number of 2. The simulation of the supersonic flow near ramp injector is done via solving RANS equations with computational fluid dynamic technique.

Its notable anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial effects and enhancement of microcirculation in the nasal mucosa make it a valuable treatment option. Despite its potential, the use of PEMF for chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS) is still in its early stages, with limited exploration of its effectiveness.

This study examined the association of handheld US indicators and bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) parameters in healthy Arabic females. A cross-sectional study was conducted on 60 healthy Arabic females whose muscle thickness (MT) and cross-sectional area (CSA) of the rectus femoris (RF) were measured alongside their MT and pennation angle (PA) of the medial gastrocnemius (MG) muscle (both muscles on the dominant side).

Methods: Randomized controlled clinical trial was conducted on 60 non-diabetic primary nephrotic syndrome patients, equally assigned to dapagliflozin and control groups.
This study aimed to evaluate the effect of adding liquid extract of algae (Hypnea musciformis, Grateloupia acuminata, and Sargassum muticum) (HGS) and Magnesium oxide nanoparticles (MgO NPs) using this extract to rear water of Oreochromis niloticus, on improving culture water indices, growth performance, digestive enzyme, hemato-biochemical characters, immune, antioxidative responses, and resistance after challenged by Aeromonas hydrophila with specific refer to the potential role of the mixture in vitro as resistance against three strains bacteria (Aeromonas sobria, Pseudomonas fluorescens, P. aeruginosa) and one parasite (Cichlidogyrus tilapia). The first group represented control, HGS0, whereas the other group, HGS5, HGS10, and HGS15 mL of liquid extract, as well as all groups with 7.

Methods: We analysed associations of infant animal and plant protein intakes with DNA methylation in early (2-6 years, = 579) and late (7̄-12 years, = 604) childhood in two studies.
Objective: This study aimed to investigate the combined effect of CYP3A5*3, CYP3A4*22, and POR*28 genetic polymorphisms on tacrolimus and cyclosporine dose requirements.
Methods: One hundred thirty renal transplant patients placed on either tacrolimus or cyclosporine were recruited, where the effect of CYP3A5*3, CYP3A4*22, and POR*28 genetic polymorphisms on their dose requirements were studied at days 14, 30, and 90 post-transplantations.
Results: The POR*28 allele frequency in the studied population was 29.
Background: Infection after a kidney transplant is a serious cause of morbidity and mortality. Weighing the risks and benefits of immunosuppression is of paramount importance for patient wellbeing and transplant survival.
Methods: This is a prospective observational study exploring the variety of bacterial, viral and fungal infections occurring within the first year of living related kidney transplantation in a young transplant cohort.
Background: A proper and adequate school environment is important for an effective learning process and for the maintenance of students' health, given that they spend a considerable amount of time at school. Safety preparedness in schools includes, for example, protection from biological, physical, and chemical risks and physical hazards associated with poor construction and maintenance practices.
Objectives: This study aims to evaluate safety preparedness in girls' public schools in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
Dialysis therapy has remarkably evolved through the innovation in dialyzers and hemodialysis modalities, enhancing patients' quality of life. The efficacy of dialysis can be determined by measuring the reduction ratio (RR) of middle molecules, such as alpha 1-microglobulin (A1M). In this study, we tested a high-flux dialyzer, BIOPURE (Biorema) 260 HF, with a surface area (SA) of 2.

Organic wastes, negatively affect the environment, recycling it as a promising technology in different farming systems, and its impact on crop productivity and soil fauna is largely unknown. In this study, the effects of integrating poultry manure (PM) alone or combined with vinasse (V) at rates of 4.

Additionally, on altering the potential users' activity, special considerations are required to fulfill the new needs. Daylight in historical buildings has a special significance in conceiving the massive artistic content within the interior spaces, in providing visual comfort for users, and affecting the total energy performance.

We analysed children's exposure to second-hand smoke (SHS) before and after the ban, its effect on children's health and prevalence of active smoking in adults.
Methods: Six cross-sectional surveys (n = 32,443) on pre-school children in Bavaria were analysed, two surveys before the smoking ban in years 2004 and 2005 (S1 and S2) and four after the ban in 2008, 2012, 2014 and 2016 (S4, S6, S7 and S8).
Background: Despite the fact that the fundamental characteristics of coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19) are respiratory manifestations, multi-organ failure including the kidney has been documented. There are no clear comparisons of COVID-19 cases with and without acute kidney injury (AKI) to show whether there are aspects of acute kidney injury progression path or outcome that are unique to this disease.
Methods: In this work, we analyzed the data of 734 COVID-19 cases admitted to the Ahmad Maher Teaching Hospital in Cairo, Egypt, between June 6 and July 25, 2020.
