Our study also examined the frequency of side effects and survival differences in patients whose dose was reduced or whose treatment was discontinued.

Background: Violence in healthcare is a global issue that healthcare professionals experience. The concerning increase in violent incidents in Turkiye particularly makes it a significant problem to explore by examining the underlying psychological factors. In this sense, this study focuses on the concept of Schadenfreude, the malicious joy of someone else's misfortune, towards doctors, which is an under-researched topic in healthcare violence.

Histopathological evaluation after pancreatic surgery: Comparison of the results of HPB-specific pathologists and non-specific pathologists.

Objectives: The aim of this study was to compare the results of the evaluation of HPB-specific pathologists and general pathologists on the specimens of patients who underwent pancreaticoduodenectomy by the same surgical team.

Material And Methods: The pathological results of 159 patients who underwent pancreaticoduodenectomy (PD) in the periampullary region was retrospectively examined. Histopathological evaluation results of HPB-specific pathologist (S group) and other pathologists (NS group) were compared.

The analysis is performed on 93 of 195 websites that appeared in an advanced Google search of the term "schizophrenia" performed on a single day. The websites were categorized as commercial, nonprofit, professional, and government.

The COVID-19 pandemic as autobiographical period: evidence from an event dating study.

The COVID-19 Pandemic is undoubtedly one of the most impactful and ubiquitous public events in recent history. In this study, we focused on how it affected the organisation of autobiographical memory by examining how often individuals referred to the COVID-19 Pandemic while estimating the date of their autobiographical memories. To that end, we collected word-cued memories from the recent past, event dating protocols, COVID-relatedness ratings, and the transitional impact scores from first-year undergraduates.

Dietary Effects of Some Plant Extracts on Laying Performance, Egg Quality, and Some Blood Parameters in Laying Hens at Different Cage Densities.

This study was carried out to determine the effects of cage density and anise extract (AE), thyme extract (TE), and black cumin extract (BCE) supplementation in the diet of laying hens on laying performance, egg quality, and some blood parameters. A total of 288 Lohman White commercial hens were blocked according to the location of their cages. The four dietary treatments included a control, basal diet + 250 mg/kg of AE, basal diet + 250 mg/kg of BCE, and basal diet + 250 mg/kg of TE for 12 weeks.

To our knowledge, no study has addressed the quality and readability of online information about electroconvulsive therapy (ECT). We aimed to examine the quality and readability of English-language Internet information related to ECT.

Real-world data on the effectiveness and safety of Ixazomib-Lenalidomide-Dexamethasone therapy in relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma patients: a multicenter experience in Turkey.

A multicenter, retrospective, observational study was conducted to explore effectiveness and safety of ixazomib plus lenalidomide with dexamethasone (IRd) in relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma (RRMM) patients following at least ≥ two lines of therapy. Impact of COVID-19 on Outcomes of Patients with Hematologic Malignancies: A Multicenter, Retrospective Study.

Objectives: Patients with hematological malignancies have a high risk of mortality from coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). This study aimed to investigate the impact of COVID-19 on mortality rates in patients with various hematological malignancies and to determine risk factors associated with all-cause mortality.

Methods: A multicenter, observational retrospective analysis of patients with hematological malignancies infected with COVID-19 between July 2020 and December 2021 was performed.

Neostigmine versus sugammadex on post-operative recovery following bariatric surgery.

Objective: The purpose of our study was to compare the recovery characteristics and side effects of sugammadex (SM) and neostigmine (NT) in morbidly obese patients undergoing bariatric surgery. Residual neuromuscular block is a serious condition that increases pulmonary complications after anesthesia. Although acetylcholinesterase inhibitors help reverse this block, they may be insufficient, especially when administered with inhalational anesthetics.

Cancer-related MAHA is a rare but serious condition that is encountered in patients diagnosed with a malignancy. This clinical picture is thought to be linked to certain tumor characteristics; particularly, adenocarcinoma histology, vascular invasion, and bone marrow infiltration.
