Objective: Cyanoacrylate closure (CAC) is a minimally invasive technique for treating axial venous reflux. However, the incidence of serious adverse events (AEs) related to CAC is concerning. With an increasing number of patients undergoing CAC and insufficient safety data in Japan, this study aimed to investigate the safety profile of CAC, focusing on the types and incidence of AEs.

Her clinical course was uneventful until follow-up computed tomography (CT) disclosed anastomotic insufficiency in the innominate artery and left main coronary artery stenosis owing to hematoma. Emergent percutaneous coronary intervention and stent graft insertion into the innominate artery were performed successfully.

Methods and results: Patients undergoing EVAR using a Zenith stent-graft and Spiral-Z limb deployed in the EIA were prospectively registered in 24 Japanese institutions from June 2017 to November 2017. In total, 65 patients (74 limbs) (mean age: 77.
