Human activity recognition (HAR) is pivotal in advancing applications ranging from healthcare monitoring to interactive gaming. Traditional HAR systems, primarily relying on single data sources, face limitations in capturing the full spectrum of human activities. This study introduces a comprehensive approach to HAR by integrating two critical modalities: RGB imaging and advanced pose estimation features.

Prevalence and nature of injuries among young professional cricketers of academies and clubs in Lahore; cross sectional survey.

A cross-sectional survey was conducted from February 2021 to June 2021, to assess the prevalence and nature of injuries among young professional cricketers from various academies and clubs in Lahore. The study comprised 149 cricketers representing different academies and clubs of Lahore. Injuries acquired between January and December 2019 were included as retrospective data.

Natural osmolytes alleviate GRP78 and ATF-4 levels: Corroboration for potential modulators of unfolded protein response.

Aims: Osmolytes are small organic molecules which play a significant role in maintaining functional homeostasis of proteins under extreme hostile stresses. Any imbalance to cell homeostasis leads to Endoplasmic Reticulum stress (ER-stress) to which a set of cellular responses both at transcriptional and translational level are initialed for restoration of cellular homeostasis called Unfolded Protein Response (UPR). In the present study we evaluated the role of Sarcosine, Betaine, Hydroxyectoine and Ectoine as potential modulators of UPR.

Serological evidence of Brucella abortus prevalence in Punjab province, Pakistan--a cross-sectional study.

Twenty-one villages in Punjab Province, seven from each region (North, Central& South) were randomly selected to determine the prevalence of B. abortus infection by two age categories (Group A: 0–2 years; Group B: >2 years) in cattle and buffalo populations. In each village, eight blood samples were collected from each age group of cattle and buffaloes.
