Intramuscular myxoma is a rare benign tumor that presents as a slow-growing, deeply seated mass confined within a skeletal muscle. Histologically, these lesions most resemble umbilical cord tissue. They mostly occur in people between 40 and 70 years old, with a 57% female predilection.
