Background & Aims: It is not clear whether the co-occurrence of immune-mediated inflammatory diseases (IMIDs) affects the course of inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD). We investigated the occurrence of IMIDs in relation to onset of IBD and the effects of concurrent IMIDs on IBD outcomes in a nationwide study of the Danish population.
Methods: We used a nationwide cohort of all individuals diagnosed with IBD, including Crohn's disease (CD) or ulcerative colitis (UC), in Denmark from 2007 through 2016 (n = 14,377).
Background: Biologics targeting interleukin 17 are increasingly being used for treatment of moderate-to-severe psoriasis, but data on drug survival for these therapies remain scarce.
Objectives: To investigate the drug survival of secukinumab and ixekizumab in a nationwide cohort of patients with psoriasis in Denmark.
Methods: Using DERMBIO, we examined Danish patients receiving treatment with secukinumab or ixekizumab according to the standard in-label dosing.
Background: Wide-ranging psoriasis prevalence estimates have been reported, possibly due to methodological differences.
Objectives: To assess the prevalence of psoriasis in Denmark and to validate the use of questionnaire-based data to identify patients with psoriasis.
Methods: We used data from the Danish Skin Cohort, a prospective cohort comprising general population adults, as well as patients with dermatologist-verified psoriasis and atopic dermatitis, respectively.
Study Question: Does an individualized serum anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) based FSH dosing algorithm used in a GnRH antagonist protocol increase the proportion of patients with an intended number of oocytes (5-14) retrieved compared with a standard regimen?
Summary Answer: The AMH-based individualized algorithm did not increase the proportion of patients with an intended oocyte retrieval.
What Is Known Already: Individualizing treatment for ovarian stimulation by serum AMH or antral follicle count can theoretically improve the ratio between benefits and risks. Current data suggest that there may be a reduced risk of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS), but without improved pregnancy or live birth rates.
Objective: To describe the prevalence and treatment regimes, disease characteristics, and comorbid diseases among patients with psoriatic arthritis (PsA) in Denmark.
Methods: All Danish individuals aged ≥ 18 years with rheumatologist-diagnosed PsA were linked in nationwide administrative registers.
Results: Among 4.
Background: Palmoplantar pustulosis (PPP) is a chronic pustular skin condition on the palms and soles. The disease is often seen in combination with plaque psoriasis, and whether PPP is a variant of psoriasis has been debated. The disease prevalence of PPP and co-occurring psoriasis is not yet established and the patient group remains understudied.

Background: Atopic dermatitis (AD) is associated with many autoimmune diseases, in part due to overlapping genetic risk loci. While parental atopic disease is an important risk for AD in the offspring, little is known on the putative associations between parental autoimmune disease and AD in their children.
Materials And Methods: All children born between 1996 and 2011 who received a diagnosis of AD in the hospital system before their fifth birthday were matched 1 : 10 with children from the general population.
Background: Atopic dermatitis (AD) is a common inflammatory skin condition. While previous publications have examined healthcare expenses, large data regarding patient demographics, healthcare use and drug prescriptions are limited.
Objective: To examine demographics, healthcare use and drug prescriptions in children and adults with hospital-diagnosed AD.
Zintl phases of arsenic and molecular compounds containing Zintl-type polyarsenide ions are of fundamental interest in basic and applied sciences. Unfortunately, the most obvious and reactive arsenic source for the preparation of defined molecular polyarsenide compounds, yellow arsenic As , is very inconvenient to prepare and neither storable in pure form nor easy to handle. Herein, we present the synthesis and reactivity of elemental As nanoparticles (As , d=7.

Background: Maternal prenatal psychiatric disease has been identified as a possible risk factor for atopic dermatitis development in her children. We quantified the associations between maternal and paternal psychiatric disease and the development of atopic dermatitis in their offspring using nationwide registries.
Methods: All children in Denmark born between 1 January 1996 and 31 December 2011 who developed atopic dermatitis prior to their fifth birthday were identified and individually matched 1:10 with controls from the general population and with children receiving care in a similar ambulatory/hospital setting.
Background: Contact allergy and allergic contact dermatitis are frequent conditions in the general population.
Objectives: To provide an updated estimate of the prevalence of contact allergy in the general population based on data from our previous review combined with new data from an updated search for relevant studies published between 2007 and 2017.
Methods: Two authors independently searched PubMed for studies reporting on the prevalence of contact allergy in samples of the general population.

Background: The risk of prenatal, obstetric and birth complications in mothers with atopic dermatitis (AD), along with treatment use during pregnancy, is unknown.
Objectives: To examine the associations between prenatal, obstetric and birth complications in mothers with AD and describe the dermatologic care received during pregnancy.
Methods: Mother-child pairs, in which the mother had a history of AD, were identified through the Danish Medical Birth Registry and matched 1 : 10 with non-AD pairs.
Background: Psoriasis impairs quality of life, but it is unknown whether psoriasis is also an independent risk factor for depression.
Objectives: To evaluate the incidence and risk of new and recurrent depression in patients with psoriasis.
Methods: We used individual-level linkage of Danish administrative registers.

In psoriasis patients, incidence rates of Crohn disease (CD) and ulcerative colitis (UC) have been increased in epidemiological studies and certain clinical trials, yet the association remains poorly understood. We studied a 20-year nationwide cohort of 235,038 Danish adults with psoriasis and a 1:1 matched reference group. Less than 1% of psoriasis patients developed CD or UC during follow-up.

Objectives: To assess the prevalence and incidence of PsA in patients with psoriasis.
Methods: Two authors independently searched 3 databases for studies reporting on the prevalence or incidence of PsA in patients with psoriasis.
Background: There is a wide range in the reported prevalences of depression in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), while the prevalence of depression in patients with cutaneous lupus erythematosus (CLE) remains severely understudied.
Objectives: To examine whether patients with SLE or CLE have an increased risk of depression.
Methods: In this nationwide observational cohort study, we included patients aged ≥ 18 years with a first-time diagnosis of SLE or CLE between 2000 and 2015 identified in the Danish National Patient Register, which were matched with the general population in a ratio of 1 : 10.
