[The impact of the mode of life on health].

On the basis of the Rosstat data and the results of numerous medical sociological studies, the causes of the prevalence in the Russian Federation of such adverse habits as alcoholism and tobacco smoking which negatively affect the health level of various population groups are analyzed.
