The scope of this article was to identify the social representations of children in a municipal public school in Rio de Janeiro, with respect to the blood sampling procedure and to discuss the social representations that emerge, in the light of the performance of the family health team in carrying out this procedure. Moscovisci's method/theory of analysis of social representations based on a qualitative approach was used. For data collection, the projective technique of the esthetic production scene and the student's speech was used.

The scope of this paper was to describe the health promotion practices developed in a community school in the municipality of Rio de Janeiro in the light of public policies and the school culture. It sought to analyze the significance attributed by the students to these practices and discuss the model of care and health promotion practices developed at school, based on the meanings attributed to such practices by the subjects under study. The qualitative and ethnographic approach supported by Geertz facilitated an understanding of the significance emerging around the health issue.

Background And Aims: For a healthy food to be introduced to the consumer's diet, it has to be attractive, yet testing for food acceptance and the sensory postprandial responses is still not standardized. The main objective of this study was to demonstrate that healthier foods can be obtained without impact on the responses to ingestion.
Methods: A randomized, cross-over, double-blind, pilot study in non-obese, healthy men (n=8) comparing the responses to a standard sausage rich in animal fat (mortadella) versus a modified product based on a plant-derived fat analogue and an aroma.
Objectives: To assess patient satisfaction and quality of life after urethroplasty using two different self-reported outcome measures and to compare it with objective clinical data.
Materials And Methods: We prospectively collected data from 35 consecutive patients who underwent urethroplasty from January 2013 to September 2014. Patient demographics, International Prostate Symptom Score (IPSS), quality of life score, urethral stricture surgery patient-reported outcome measure (USS-PROM), maximum flow rate (Qmax) and post-void residual urine were collected before, two and eight months after surgery.
Investigation with descriptive and qualitative approach. Political-social context of Nurse teaching are analyzed, with emphasis in policies formation. Teaching programs of Obstetrical Nursing from 1972 to 1996 utilized by five graduate teaching schools were described and analyzed according to geographical region, for dialetic analysis of thematic and contents.
