Article Synopsis
  • Researchers are studying immune cells called tumor infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) in endometrial cancer (EC) to see how they affect the disease.
  • They analyzed TILs from 47 tumors to understand their characteristics and how well they recognize and respond to cancer cells.
  • The results showed that certain TILs with specific markers (like PD-1 and CD39) are better at fighting the cancer and their presence might relate to patient survival and the tumor's characteristics.
