Qualitative research inquiring into the university world about the values of young people's life to successfully offset the danger of alcohol consumption. Discussion groups were implemented in workshops with 46 university students. The results show that that Bolivian society is very tolerant and permissive towards alcohol consumption by male university students.

The aim of this quantitative, descriptive, observational, cross-sectional study was to characterize the distribution and characteristics of motor vehicle accidents related to alcohol consumption. The sample was composed of 62 drivers and pedestrians, over 15 years old, who were involved in motor vehicle accidents involving alcohol, and were attended at the Emergency Unit of the Clinical Hospital of La Paz - Bolivia. A survey designed by the researchers to collect partner-demographic data and morbidity of the victim was applied and data that evaluated the alcohol consumption of the driver responsible for the accident was collected.

The aim of this study was to verify the knowledge of nursing students regarding the use of alcohol and other drugs, particularly addiction, tolerance, withdrawal and intoxication, the reasons students give for drug addiction and commencement, and personal interest in the issue of drug use. A descriptive-exploratory design was used, with a sample of 44 students, by applying a semi-structured questionnaire, constructed by the researchers based on the objectives, with open and closed questions, totaling 24 points. Ethical procedures were followed and data were submitted to exploratory descriptive analysis.

This qualitative study aimed to investigate the perception of undergraduate nursing students on health promotion in view of the use of psychoactive substances. Nine undergraduate students, attending the last disciplines of the first semester, participated in the study and were divided in two focal groups. This descriptive and exploratory study with a qualitative design aimed to describe and analyze discussions in online chats about mental disorders in a psychiatric nursing course as part of an undergraduate nursing program. The sample consisted of 32 undergraduate students who attended the course. Data analysis showed that the discussions through online chat sessions permeated the acquisition of knowledge, procedures, attitudes and values and promoted students' active participation.

The purpose of this study was to explore some of the possibilities of getting information about mental and behavior disorders using the Internet, specifically at the Ministry of Health's DATASUS website. The site presented elements that illustrate the Health Information Systems' resources, which may be used by nurses as a safe and simplified way of obtaining data. The study focused on psychiatric hospitalization through the SIH-SUS in the city of Ribeirão Preto, State of São Paulo.
