In the United States and within Colorado, the number of persons experiencing homelessness has risen, with over 600,000 counted on a single night in 2023. Limited data integration across healthcare and social services hinders understanding of how permanent supportive housing (PSH) affects health outcomes. The 2 species share several morphological and morphometric characters that lead to frequent misidentification. Objectives: To describe the prevalence, distribution and risk factors for hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection among homeless adults using eight Health Care for the Homeless (HCH) clinics nationally.

Examination of the reproductive biology of Mustelus asterias in the north-east Atlantic Ocean highlighted apparent geographical variation in maturity, fecundity and ovarian cycle between Atlantic and Mediterranean populations. The stretch total length (L(ST) ) and age at 50% maturity for Atlantic males and females were estimated at 78 cm L(ST) and 4-5 years and 87 cm L(ST) and 6 years, respectively. Size at maturity of females was considerably smaller than in Mediterranean specimens (96 cm L(ST) ).

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the results of retrograde intramedullary nailing of femoral diaphyseal fractures caused by low-velocity gunshots. Seventy-three patients (68 men and 5 women) with 74 femoral diaphyseal fractures caused by gunshots were treated with reamed, retrograde, statically locked intramedullary nailing. The main outcome measures were fracture union, the need for additional operations, shortening, angular deformity, postoperative knee range of motion, and complication rate.

Postembolization ultrasound and arteriography demonstrated successful ablation of the pseudoaneurysm following intra-arterial thrombin injection. Postoperative pulse volume recording and photoplethysmograph of the digits revealed excellent perfusion following ablation.
