Primary myxoid melanoma with dermoscopic findings.

Myxoid melanoma is a rare variant of melanoma, which is characterized by atypical spindle cells and dense mucin deposition in dermis. This tumor is usually seen in elderly people with a similar progress in other variants of melanoma. A 28-year-old male presented to our outpatient clinic with a 6-month history of a slowly growing asymptomatic pink lesion on his arm.

Primary cutaneous CD 30 (+) ALK (-) anaplastic large cell lymphoma with dermoscopic findings: a case report.

Primary cutaneous CD 30 (+) anaplastic large cell lymphoma (PCALCL) is a rare and indolent type of cutaneous T cell lymphoma, which usually presents as an asymptomatic solitary firm nodule that rapidly grows and often ulcerates without any systemic involvement. A 64-year-old female presented to our outpatient clinic with a one-year history of multiple pink nodular lesions on the chest, back and gluteal regions. Dermoscopic examination of the nodular lesions revealed pink-to-yellow structureless areas and arborizing-to-polymorphous vessels.

The patient had visited various clinics for her complaints and was diagnosed as having contact dermatitis and senile pruritus. She was prescribed topical mometasone furoate and moisturizers. After 6 months of using this therapy, widespread grey-white plaques and minimal excoriation appeared on her face, scalp, and trunk.

Isolated giant molluscum contagiosum mimicking epidermoid cyst.

Molluscum contagiosum is a benign cutaneous viral infection which is caused by double- stranded DNA poxvirus. It affects mainly children and young adults and usually presents with single or multiple umblicated papules or nodules on face, arms, legs and anogenital regions. It may present in atypical size and clinical appearance in patients with altered or impaired immunity and rarely in immuncompetent patients.

Lymphomatoid contact dermatitis associated with textile dye at an unusual location.

Lymphomatoid contact dermatitis (LCD) is a rare variant of noneczematous allergic contact dermatitis, which can mimick parapsoriasis or early-stage mycosis fungoides with its atypical clinical and histopathological manifestation. Many different haptens have been reported to be associated with this reaction. Histopathological examination, immunhistochemistry, clonality tests, and patch tests are mandatory for diagnosis and differential diagnosis.
