Purpose: This study analyzed the stress distribution of restored principal abutments in free-end saddle partial dentures.
Materials And Methods: The mandibular second premolar was modeled with class II cavity restored with composite resins (Tetric N Ceram and Charisma Smile). Finite element analysis (FEA) was used to examine the stresses under 200-N static load vertically and horizontally and the results were graphically illustrated in the form of von Mises stresses.
Purpose: Restorative materials and techniques have improved the clinical success of a variety of restorative procedures. Despite these new improvements, microleakage remains one of the leading causes of restoration failure and may lead to postoperative sensitivity, enamel microcracks, marginal staining, discoloration, recurrent caries, and deformation of teeth. This study evaluated microleakages of five recent resin composites in class V cavities.

Materials And Methods: The study was done on 120 upper premolars with two adhesive systems ( = 60), self-etch, and total-etch type. Sixty teeth of each method were stored at three different times ( = 20) 1 day, 3, and 6 months.
Background: This study evaluated and compared the bacteriological effect of two-piece implants and one-piece implants in complete overdenture cases on supporting structures.
Materials And Methods: Ten male completely edentulous patients were selected and randomly divided into two equal groups according to the implant design and surgical technique for this study; Group 1: Patients were rehabilitated with complete mandibular overdenture supported by two-piece implants one on each side of the lower arch following two-stage surgical technique and Group 2: Patients were rehabilitated with complete mandibular overdenture supported by one-piece implants one on each side. Evaluation was made at the time of insertion, 6, 12, and 18 months after overdenture insertion, by measuring bacteriological changes around implants abutments.
Introduction: Microleakage is one of the important contributing factors in the failure of resin restorations. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of the location of the gingival margin (enamel, dentin, or cementum) on nanohybrid composite resin on the microleakage of Class II posterior restoration.
Methods: This was an in vitro study done at Al-Farabi College of Dentistry and Nursing in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia).
