Purpose: The purpose of the study was to investigate if adjuvant hormones after successful adhesiolysis lead to a reduction in spontaneous recurrence of adhesions and influence reproductive outcomes.

Methods: A single-blind randomized controlled trial comparing administration of oral estrogen (the usual care group) with not giving estrogen (no estrogen) in women after successful adhesiolysis for Asherman syndrome. Women were included between September 2013 and February 2017, with a follow-up of 3 years to monitor recurrences and reproductive outcomes.

What is the optimal distribution of two types of crystalline phases on the surface of icosahedral shells, such as of many viral capsids? We here investigate the distribution of a thin layer of soft material on a crystalline convex icosahedral shell. We demonstrate how the shapes of spherical viruses can be understood from the perspective of elasticity theory of thin two-component shells. We develop a theory of shape transformations of an icosahedral shell upon addition of a softer, but still crystalline, material onto its surface.

Making urban mobility more sustainable is a grand challenge, yet urban environments are beacons of hope in delivering this result: authorities are active partners in the mobility transition, and dense cities provide favorable boundary conditions for delivering more sustainable outcomes. A U-turn to the past may present the right recipe for such a mobility transition to take place by making the past "usable." First, this entails understanding how our currently unsustainable urban mobility has been advocated and how alternative urban mobilities have been decentered.

Purpose: To report the outcomes of patients who underwent goniotomy with the Kahook Dual Blade (KDB) either as a standalone procedure or in combination with cataract extraction.

Patients And Methods: This retrospective chart review included 111 eyes of 90 patients who underwent KDB goniotomy from January to November 2016 at Glaucoma Associates of Texas. KDB goniotomy was combined with cataract surgery in 100 eyes.

The Flavor Enhancer Maltol Increases Pigment Aggregation in Dermal and Neural Melanophores in Xenopus laevis Tadpoles.

Melanophores are pigmented cells that change the distribution of melanosomes, enabling animals to appear lighter or darker for camouflage, thermoregulation, and protection from ultraviolet radiation. A complex series of hormonal and neural mechanisms regulates melanophore pigment distribution, making these dynamic cells a valuable tool to screen toxicants as they rapidly respond to changes in the environment. We found that maltol, a naturally occurring flavor enhancer and fragrance agent, induces melanophore pigment aggregation in a dose-dependent manner in Xenopus laevis tadpoles.
