Introduction: The efficacy of intracranial rescue stenting (RS) following failed mechanical thrombectomy (MT) in large-vessel occlusion (LVO) stroke remains uncertain. We aimed to evaluate clinical outcomes of RS in patients with anterior circulation LVO stroke following unsuccessful MT.

Patients And Methods: We conducted a retrospective analysis using the Stroke Code Registry of Catalonia (January 2016-March 2022), a prospective, population-based registry including patients treated at 10 comprehensive stroke centers.

Practical application of multimodality imaging for cardio-oncology in Latin America.

Latin America (LA) is one of the regions in the world with the highest levels of overweight, dyslipidemia, and diabetes mellitus, which, together with smoking and high blood pressure, are common risk factors for cardiovascular and oncological diseases. Chemotherapy (CT) and Radiotherapy (RT) have become two of the mainstays of treatment for several types of cancer. One of the most worrisome side effects generated by CT and RT is cardiotoxicity.

Connectivity of the neuronal network for contextual fear memory is disrupted in a mouse model of third-trimester binge-like ethanol exposure.

Background: In rodents, third-trimester-equivalent alcohol exposure (TTAE) produces significant deficits in hippocampal-dependent memory processes such as contextual fear conditioning (CFC). The present study sought to characterize changes in both behavior and Fos neurons following CFC in ethanol (EtOH)-treated versus saline-treated mice using TRAP2:Ai14 mice that permanently label Fos neurons following a tamoxifen injection. We hypothesized that TTAE would produce long-lasting disruptions to the networks engaged following CFC with a particular emphasis on the limbic memory system.

Early response in people with anorexia nervosa receiving cognitive-behavioural therapy for eating disorders (CBT-ED): a latent change study.

Objective: Early improvement predicts good outcome in psychotherapy for eating disorders. Prior studies have examined change in body mass index (BMI) or Eating Disorder Examination Questionnaire scores (EDE-Q) as indicators of early response, but not both simultaneously. Little research has examined early change among Anorexia Nervosa (AN) samples treated with eating disorder-focussed cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT-ED).

Association of children's electronic media use with physical activity, cognitive function, and stress.

Objective: Electronic media is constantly evolving and has become an integral part of people's lives, especially among youth. This cross-sectional observational study assessed the association between electronic media use, health behaviors and outcomes, specifically, physical activity, stress and cognitive function among youth from an under-resourced community.

Methods: Participants ages six-sixteen were recruited from a Federally Qualified Health Center to participate in a study to promote park prescriptions with data collection between 2020 and 2024.
