Introduction: Lung cancer is one of the most prevalent cancers and the leading cause of cancer death. Advanced non-small cell lung cancer (aNSCLC) patients frequently harbor mutations that impact their survival outcomes. There are limited data regarding the prognostic and predictive significance of these mutations on survival outcomes in the real-world setting.

We aimed to evaluate the diagnostic performance of Tc-EDDA/HYNIC-TOC compared toIn-DTPA-octreotide in patients (pts) with NETs. We performed a prospective diagnostic study including pts with biopsy-confirmed NET and at least one visible lesion at conventional imaging.

Critically ill COVID-19 patients attended by anesthesiologists in northwestern Spain: a multicenter prospective observational study.

Background And Objectives: There are limited information on outcome, complications and treatments of critically ill COVID-19 patients requiring admission to an intensive care unit (ICU). The aim of this study is to describe the clinical ICU course, treatments used, complications and outcomes, of critically ill COVID-19 patients admitted in seven ICU in Galicia region during the 2020 March-April pandemic peak.

Methods: Between March 21 and April 19, 2020, we evaluated critically ill COVID-19 patients admitted to the ICU of Anesthesia of seven hospitals in Galicia, northwestern Spain.

PET-CT has low specificity for mediastinal staging of non-small-cell lung cancer in an endemic area for tuberculosis: a diagnostic test study (LACOG 0114).

Background: The present study aims to assess the performance of 18F-FDG PET-CT on mediastinal staging of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) in a location with endemic granulomatous infectious disease.

Methods: Diagnostic test study including patients aged 18 years or older with operable stage I-III NSCLC and indication for a mediastinal lymph node biopsy. All patients underwent a 18F-FDG PET-scan before invasive mediastinal staging, either through mediastinoscopy or thoracotomy, which was considered the gold-standard.
