Sustainable High Quality Recycling of Aggregates from Waste-to-Energy, Treated in a Wet Bottom Ash Processing Installation, for Use in Concrete Products.

Nowadays, more efforts towards sustainability are required from the concrete industry. Replacing traditional aggregates by recycled bottom ash (BA) from municipal solid waste incineration can contribute to this goal. Until now, only partial replacement has been considered to keep the concrete workability, strength and durability under control.

Intraventricular hemorrhage (IVH) after bleeding from a cerebral aneurysm or an arteriovenous malformation (AVM) results in a high mortality. A limited number of publications have shown that intraventricular thrombolysis with e.g.

Transcranial Doppler sonography in subarachnoid hemorrhage.

Ten patients presenting a subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) due to rupture of a middle cerebral or an anterior communicating aneurysm are presented. Transcranial Doppler (TCD) values are obtained at different time intervals after SAH. The correlation of TCD values, vasospasm and clinical course is discussed.
