Venous aneurysms are uncommon in the vascular pathology of the lower limb. They are more commonly encountered in the neck, thoracic veins and visceral veins. Involvement of the popliteal veins is not often encountered.

We report the case of a patient who suffered major trauma following a motorcycle accident that resulted in multiple fractures, bilateral hemopneumothorax, pulmonary contusions, and an isthmic rupture of the aorta with a pseudoaneurysm compressing the descending aorta. This compression was responsible for distal hypotension and low flow, leading to acute renal insufficiency and massive rhabdomyolysis. Due to the critical clinical status of the patient, which prevented any type of open thoracic surgery, endovascular treatment was performed.

Retroperitoneal liposarcomes are characterised by their tendency to recurrence, Eight cases are related, from which no one get out of this rule. Late diagnosis is due to their silent growth and poor symptomatology. Ancillary procedures, particularly computerised tomography, and histological examination, allow to confirm diagnosis.
