Regulatory signals in the body are not limited to chemical and electrical ones. There is another type of important signals for cells: those are mechanical signals (coming from the environment or arising from within the body), which have been less known in the literature. The review summarizes new information on the mechanosensitivity of various cells of connective tissue and nervous system.

Background: The pathological changes in the cervical spine frequently result in the disturbances of the blood supply in the vertebral-basiliar system. The degenerative-dystrophic processes in the cervical spine occupy the leading place in the pathogenesis of the vertebral artery syndrome (VAS) causing disorders of the microcirculation and innervation, as well as the restriction of mobility and the development of somatic dysfunctions. It can be assumed that the manual methods applied to manage this condition can be effective in the removal the functional abnormalities in the blood flow.

Complex sanitary hygienic and sociologic evaluation of high school factors enabled to assign work conditions of medical institute lecturers according to P 2.2.2006 - to 05 for jeopardy and to 2 degree 3 class for hardiness and intensity of work, to define psychosocial risks as main hazards.

[Biological factor of work conditions in medical institutions and its influence on health status of medical personnel].

The article covers epidemiologic analysis of medical staff health state, epidemiologic evaluation of biologic factor's influence (degree and character of) on clinical staff, detection of principal risk factors for being infected. The aim is to create a supervision system and to elaborate effective measures for occupational risk prevention in medical personnel. Organizing a goal-seeking and effective system for occupational risk prevention and health care in medical staff, one should consider specificity in each medical establishment and in each occupational task.
