The 'type' of the fly species 'Trypeta' cylindrica Walker, 1853, from the William Saunders Collection, was misidentified and subsequently placed in the genus Chyliza Fallén (Psilidae). A specimen from the same collection with identical label data but belonging to Coelopacidia Enderlein (Tephritidae) is hereby identified as the correct holotype and the species should therefore be referred to as Coelopacidia cylindrica (Walker, 1853). The lymphatic system possesses the main viral replication sites in the body following viral infection. Unfortunately, current antiretroviral agents penetrate the lymph nodes insufficiently when administered orally and, therefore, cannot access the lymphatic system sufficiently to interrupt this viral replication. For this reason, novel drug delivery systems aimed at enhancing the lymphatic uptake of antiretroviral drugs are highly desirable.

The goal of oncologic surgeries is complete tumor resection, yet positive margins are frequently found postoperatively using gold standard H&E-stained histology methods. Frozen section analysis is sometimes performed for rapid intraoperative margin evaluation, albeit with known inaccuracies. Here, we introduce a label-free histological imaging method based on an ultraviolet photoacoustic remote sensing and scattering microscope, combined with unsupervised deep learning using a cycle-consistent generative adversarial network for realistic virtual staining.
