[Ultrasound methods of examination in the determination of therapeutic strategy in patients with spleen injuries].

Based on experience of ultrasonic diagnosis of spleen damages in 86 patients it was established that specificity of the method is 99%, accuracy--97%, sensitivity--83%. Dynamic ultrasonic examinations identify to the group of patients with severe combined trauma and spleen damage who may be treated conservatively. This group consists of patients with small quantity of free fluid in left subdiaphragmatic space and stable changes in splenic parenchyma.
