The purpose of the study was to evaluate the functional resistance of enamel in children with malocclusions. Material and research methods: there were examined 579 children aged 12-16 years with malocclusions and was determined the functional enamel resistance. The data obtained in the study indicate that the prevalence of malocclusions among examined children, according to the average data, is 67,76±1,99%.

One such diagnostic is positron annihilation lifetime spectroscopy, which probes space-time continuum relationships for the interaction between electrons and their antiparticle (positrons) in structural entities like free-volume defects, vacancies, vacancy-like clusters, interfacial voids and pores, etc.
Objectives: This paper is intended to highlight the possibilities of positron annihilation lifetime spectroscopy as an informative instrumentation tool to parameterize free-volume evolution in light-cured dimethacrylate dental restorative composites exemplified by Charisma® (Heraeus Kulzer GmbH, Hanau, Germany) and Dipol® (Oksomat-AN Ltd, Kyiv, Ukraine).
The aim of the research was to study the state of oral liquid immunity in children with chronic catarrhal gingivitis living in unfavorable environmental conditions. The study included 190 children with chronic catarrhal gingivitis (CCG): 110 children aged 7, 12 and 15 years and residing in ecologically unfavorable areas of Lviv region and 80 children living in 'conditionally clean' region which constituted comparison group. Children with CCG from polluted areas had increased content of pro-inflammatory cytokines and reduction of anti-inflammatory cytokines compared to controls.
