Burden of chronic cough in the UK: results from the 2018 National Health and Wellness Survey.

Background: Chronic cough, defined as daily cough for at least 8 weeks, negatively affects quality of life and work productivity and increases healthcare resource utilisation. We aimed to determine the prevalence and burden of chronic cough in the UK.

Methods: Study participants were general population respondents to the 2018 UK National Health and Wellness Survey (NHWS).

Integrating HIV and substance misuse services: a person-centred approach grounded in human rights.

Integrating HIV-related care with treatment for substance use disorder provides an opportunity to better meet the needs of people living with these conditions. People with substance use disorder are rendered especially vulnerable by prevailing policies, structural inequalities, and stigmatisation. In this Series paper we analyse existing literature and empirical evidence from scoping reviews on integration designs for the treatment of HIV and substance use disorder, to understand barriers to and facilitators of care integration and to map ways forward.

The RNA-bound proteome of MRSA reveals post-transcriptional roles for helix-turn-helix DNA-binding and Rossmann-fold proteins.

RNA-binding proteins play key roles in controlling gene expression in many organisms, but relatively few have been identified and characterised in detail in Gram-positive bacteria. Here, we globally analyse RNA-binding proteins in methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) using two complementary biochemical approaches. We identify hundreds of putative RNA-binding proteins, many containing unconventional RNA-binding domains such as Rossmann-fold domains.

Methods: This was a survey of respondents who completed the 2018 National Health and Wellness Survey and questions about sleep and health care resource use.

Objective: To investigate the effect of involving children in their feeding process (choosing a recipe, purchasing the ingredients, and cooking) on their lunch food choice in a school environment.

Design: Quasi-experimental.

Setting: Two schools in Bilbao, Spain.
