To tackle the problem of developing efficient adsorbents for the selective removal of copper ions from wastewater, this investigation focused on the synthesis of Fe-GO/MMT/SA and Al-GO/MMT/SA copper ion adsorbent materials (Fe-GMS and Al-GMS), respectively, by merging two distinct metal ions (Fe(III) and Al(III)) with sodium alginate (SA), graphene oxide (GO), and montmorillonite (MMT). By introducing metal ions with different coordination configurations, the slit structure and pore density of the adsorbents can be effectively controlled, thereby enhancing the selectivity for copper ion adsorption. The results show that Fe-GMS has excellent adsorption capacity for Cu(II) compared with Al(III), and the adsorption capacity and distribution coefficient are 116.

The P22 protein immunocomplex (P22PI), derived from bovine tuberculin, shows immunostimulating capacity and is used for TB diagnosis. This study assessed the immunogenicity and protective efficacy of P22PI in two groups of goats: 24 naïve goats (12 immunised, 12 controls) from a TB-free herd, and 24 infected goats (12 immunised, 12 controls), referred to as pre-infected animals, from a -infected herd.

In the reaction of gold-catalyzed C-S coupling, a variety of functionalized sodium sulfinates, such as CF, CHF, CH, and alkyl groups, can react smoothly with aryl iodides to directly construct diversely functionalized aryl sulfones. This gold-catalyzed sulfonylation offers a complementary method for synthesizing functionalized aryl sulfones with electron-donating groups.

With suitable and straightforward reaction condition adjustments, the C-H bond functionalization of diverse aryl imidates with cyclic 1,3-diones occurred smoothly and precisely at room temperature. Accompanied by different directing group transformations, a series of corresponding aryl nitriles, hydrophenanthridin-1(2)-ones, spiro isoindoles, or hydrophenanthridine-1,6(2,5)-diones were synthesized in good yields to provide a rational directing group utilization strategy for the Rh(III)-catalyzed C(sp)-H bond activation.
